Who we are and how we work

THE BRAND
The hexagon isn't decoration. It's a floor.
The company logo is a hexagon. We didn't pick it because it looked modern.
Since the early 1900s, the one-inch hex has been the classic bathroom floor in American homes. All white, or laid in multi-color patterns. It still gets installed today — and Josue has laid it.
There's a reason the shape stuck around for a century: a hexagon covers a surface better than any other shape. It's the same reason bees build that way. Less waste, more coverage, everything fits.
A flooring installer with a floor for a logo. And not just any floor: the one that's been working for a hundred years.
STORY
The story

Construction & Floors JD is Josue Moncada's company. It's been registered in Florida since May 2017.
When he registered it, he had the logo done by a designer. It's the same hexagon you see above — he hasn't changed it since. Josue has been in the trade for longer than the company.
It started in Miami houses. Today the crew works across Florida, and has installed flooring in hotels and residential developments out of state.
When you message us, you get the person who does the work. No salesman in the middle.

HOW WE WORK
How we work, step by step
The visit
We come to your house, look at the job, and measure. We ask what you want and tell you what's realistic with what's there. The visit costs you nothing.
The written estimate
You get the scope line by line: what comes out, what goes in, how many sqft, which material, how many lnft of baseboard. With the price and the completion date.
The work
We start on the agreed day. We protect what isn't being touched and we haul the debris ourselves.
Handover
We hand it over clean, on the day we said.
ESTIMATE
So there are no surprises
Always included
- ·All labor in the written scope
- ·Base prep and leveling
- ·Debris removal
- ·Cleaning at handover
Quoted separately and itemized
- ·Material, if we're the ones buying it
- ·Permits, when the job requires them
What we do and what we don't
We're flooring, tile, and surface installers. That's what we do and that's what we're good at. Plumbing, electrical, and structural work go to those trades: we tell you at the visit and it's written into the estimate, so you know exactly who does what. We'd rather tell you before than have you find out halfway through.
The only thing that can change the price
Something nobody could see before we opened it up. Moisture under the floor, a base in bad shape. If it shows up, we stop, we show you, we tell you what it costs to fix, and you decide. We never do it first and bill you after.
That's all “no hidden charges” means. It isn't an advertising line — it's how we write the estimate.
